Each week, our volunteers provide medical care to our animal residents, foster an abandoned litter of kittens and add joy to the lives of individuals in assisted living facilities. Committed to the philosophy that each and every animal is a unique and valued being, our programs would not be possible without the dedication and hard work from our volunteers.
Those individuals interested in the adult volunteer program may choose to assist in one or several of the following categories: dog care, cat care, rabbit care, administrative tasks, Senior Pet Therapy, kitten fostering or choose to be weekly veterinarian assistant.
Each volunteer must make a six-month commitment to the program and volunteer at least eight-hours per month. A minimal police background check is required by the City of Burbank. Each adult volunteer must be at least 18-years of age.
